Under the supervision and mentoring of a full-time member of the faculty, students will undertake a significant research project that focuses on a particular topic in the humanities reflecting their areas of humanities major concentration.
Course Objectives
This course sets the focus of the student by building a foundation towards the surrounding environment and teaches discipline and guidance towards the student's area of concentration.
Prerequisites
Completion of at least 40 credit hours of any course related to humanities and core programs along with permission of division director.
Course Track
Explain one or more specific areas of the humanities;
Apply body of knowledge in at least one area of the humanities to a specific issue;
Produce a substantive research project on the subject to be determined in consultation with instructor.
Course Benefits
Upon Completion students will receive 8 credits towards their Diploma, Associates Degree and Bachelors Degree Program.
Course Duration
This course will be completed in 20 hours of Instructor led / Guided sessions and Lab and 40 hours of Lab Time.
