EMPLOYMENT TRAINING PANEL
Since its inception in 1983, the ETP Program has provided over $1 billion dollars to train more than 660,000 workers in over 60,000 companies in California. The program serves as the premier economic development tool, encouraging many companies to locate or expand in California with the assistance of ETP’s job training funds. Independent research has documented a return on investment of over $5 for every $1 in ETP funds spent on training.
Companies if qualified and approved by ETP can train their employees for free. In order for a company to receive ETP funds both Company and the Employee must meet the below mentioned requirements:
ETP COMPANY QUALIFICATION CRIETERIA:
Company has a turnover rate of 20% or less
Company provides on – going in kind contributions, (wages, training materials, etc.)
Company has a valid California Employer Account Number (CEAN)
Company pays quarterly State taxes for their employees
ETP EMPLOYEE QULAIFICATION CRIETERIA:
Employed full time, year-round
Employee has worked for the employer a minimum of 90 days prior to beginning training
Must complete all training and 90 day post-training retention period. If the employee does leave the company, forwarding information must be supplied to ABCO Technology
Must receive ETP minimum wages
